The Box exhibition was a big success, well attended and well liked – but now that the boxes have come down, new work is going up. All by Fumico and Tim, a mixed media collection, large and small and it will evolve over time. An event is planned for Saturday 13th July with a collaborative music performance involving Simon And The Pope, the Good For Nothing Poet and ZUZUSHIIMONKEY. The next group show at The Lab will be in October after the Coastal Currents festival has finished, on the theme of EROTIC. So get ready.
The ZUZUSHII ART LABORATORY are back at 26 White Rock, Hastings, TN34 1JY. An opening exhibition of us and fellow box artists kicks off on 1st June, all welcome. Beyond being a show case for our own work, further themed group exhibitions are in the pipe line. Erotic Art, Functional Art, Book Art and more. Don‘t just hold onto your hats.
A mini documentary of ZUZUSHIMONKEY on a mini tour of the Catalan Republic, formally a part of Spain. Featuring El Doctor of Doctor Zuzushii Monkey fame. Performances on El Prat Radio (La Moto De Sasha), at Porta Roja, Dinamo, Nook and La Clota in Vic. January and February 2019.
A few new pieces inspired by the life and writings of Russian absurdist writer Daniil Kharms (1905-1942). An exhibition is planned, somewhere, sometime, in conjunction with In Kharms Way (Ted Milton and Sam Britton), a performance project clearly connected with the same writer. Watch this space.
